180px-Gandhi_Juhu_May1944 Okay, so we know Gandhi didn't actually give counsel for Online Network Marketing…then again, how about applying some of his wisdom to the art of this unique profession?…

I read this interesting statistic the other day that network marketers (on & off-line) and used car salespeople have the same trustworthy score by "We the People"  and sorry to say, it's at the bottom of the barrel.

I can promise if we all put into practice Mahatma Gandhi's timeless advice those scores would blast to the top.  Go ahead, read on, see what I mean…

"All compromise is based on give and take, but there can be no give and take on fundamentals. Any compromise on mere fundamentals is a surrender. For it is all give and no take."    "In matters of conscience, the law of the majority has no place"

If we all could  check ourdeep core values on how we build and run our business imagine the difference throughout the entire industry. Did it gripe you  when the  kids would constantly say, "But mom, everybody else is doing it",  I couldn't wait until they grew out of that one…But wait, I'm still hearing it – upline, downline, and sideline… as adults!

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."   "Those who know how to think need no teachers."

These two are imperative to success…Always learning with passion to live and share the good we've learned with each other.  The second is priceless, if we could all think and solve our own situations more, find the answers on our own research, tech support, company support,  the answers would stay with us longer, stabilized as our own wealth of knowledge.  Unless, of course, you're joining me through the over 50 stage, where you can't even remember…hmm…hmm…now, what was I going to say???

"An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching."   "Imitation is the sincerest flattery."

I'm sure these have been proven to you in and out of business life.  Learning by example is the easiest way to teach everyone, from new reps to an entire team.  It's either, "Get out your starter kit, do whatever it tells you."  that goes nowhere… or rather,  "Watch what I'm doing, see how simple that was?  Now, you go and do the same."  That  one works for me!

"Honest disagreement is often a good sign of progress."   "Healthy discontent is the prelude to progress." "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

Whoaaah!  Aren't these the day in – day out, over and over again way of network marketing?  At least that's the way it was before the internet and attraction marketing.  I don't know about you, but the process and huge success now, from introduction to lifelong business friend is seemless and refreshing compared to the twenty years we did it with zero success, the old school way.

"I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people." "In a gentle way, you can shake the world."  "Be the change that you want to see in the world."  "A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history."

The masterful insight of those last quotes need no comment, other than…Now that's the way to grow your business…Thank you Mahatma Gandhi.
